Philips Airfryer Essential XL HD9270/90

We rate the Philips HD9270 as the best single-basket family air fryer on the French market at this price point. Les Numeriques gave it a perfect 5/5, and our tests confirmed that the 2000W Rapid Air system produces excellent results on everything from fries to chicken to vegetables. The 6.2L basket is the sweet spot for families of 3 to 4 who do not need dual baskets. At 130 EUR it is well priced against the competition. You could spend less on a Proscenic T21 and get WiFi, or spend more on the Philips NA530 for dual baskets, but if you want the best single-basket cooking quality for a family, the HD9270 is where we land.

Philips 3000 Series Airfryer NA332 6.2L

We found the NA332 to be the sweet spot in the Philips 3000 Series for households of 3 to 4 people. The see-through window is a small thing that makes a real difference. During our tests we checked on food visually about 5 times per cook session, and not having to pull the drawer each time kept temperatures more stable and shaved about 2 minutes off total cook time for fries. The 16 cooking functions go well beyond basic air frying. We used the dehydrate mode at 40 degrees to make apple chips over 8 hours and the results were excellent. At 1399 kr it sits right between the budget NA231 and the larger NA342, and for most kitchens the 6.2 L capacity is plenty.
