We think the Cuisinart TOA-26 hits a sweet spot for small households that want a toaster oven with air fry capability but lack the counter space for the full-size TOA-60. It packs the same 1800W power into a body that is 3 inches narrower and 7 lbs lighter. The 30-minute timer cap is the biggest limitation. If you regularly roast or bake for longer than that, look at the TOA-60 instead.
Cuisinart TOA-70 Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill
We were pleasantly surprised by the grill function on the Cuisinart TOA-70. It does not replace an outdoor grill, but it produced respectable grill marks and a decent sear on chicken breasts and thin steaks in our testing. At $250, it is the most feature-packed Cuisinart toaster oven, though the jump to a Breville is worth considering if your budget allows another $100.
