We think the Vortex Plus 6-in-1 is the sweet spot in the Instant lineup. For just $20 more than the base Vortex, you get dehydrating, broiling, and baking modes that actually work well. The odor erase filter is a nice touch that we did not expect to appreciate as much as we did. If you are deciding between this and the base model, spend the extra $20.
Instant Vortex Plus 5.7L ClearCook
We think the Instant Vortex Plus ClearCook solves one of the biggest daily frustrations with basket air fryers: not being able to see your food. The window stays clear enough during most cooking to tell if fries need a shake or chicken needs more time. At 5.7L with 1700W the cooking performance matches the Ninja and Cosori models in its price range. At 110 EUR it is a moderate premium over windowless competitors, but we found ourselves opening the basket 50% less often, which means faster cooking and better results.
