Philips 3000 Serie L HD9100/20
We see the HD9100 as the purest entry-level air fryer in the Philips range. You get the Rapid Air technology that makes Philips air fryers popular, in the smallest and cheapest package possible. In our tests fries came out evenly crispy in about 15 minutes, and the analog controls are genuinely easy to use. At 70 EUR it competes with the Silvercrest from Lidl but delivers noticeably better airflow and crispiness. If you want simplicity and trusted Philips quality for a small household, the HD9100 delivers. If you want a screen and presets, step up to the HD9252 for about 10 EUR more.
Philips Airfryer Essential XL HD9270/90
We rate the Philips HD9270 as the best single-basket family air fryer on the French market at this price point. Les Numeriques gave it a perfect 5/5, and our tests confirmed that the 2000W Rapid Air system produces excellent results on everything from fries to chicken to vegetables. The 6.2L basket is the sweet spot for families of 3 to 4 who do not need dual baskets. At 130 EUR it is well priced against the competition. You could spend less on a Proscenic T21 and get WiFi, or spend more on the Philips NA530 for dual baskets, but if you want the best single-basket cooking quality for a family, the HD9270 is where we land.
