We think the Dash Compact is the best air fryer for dorm rooms, RVs, or anyone cooking for one. At 5.4 lbs and about $40, the investment is minimal. We cooked single servings of fries in about 15 minutes with good crispiness. Do not expect to feed a family with this, but for solo meals and snacks, it does the job remarkably well for the price.
Dash Tasti-Crisp 2.6 QT Air Fryer
We see the Dash Tasti-Crisp as the sweet spot in Dash's compact lineup. The extra 0.6 qt over the Dash Compact sounds small, but in practice it lets you cook a more generous single serving or a tight portion for two. At $50 it costs only $10 more than the smaller model, and we think that upgrade is worth it. Still best suited for individuals or couples who want a small, affordable air fryer.
