Moulinex Easy Fry Compact EZ1018
We recommend the Easy Fry Compact to anyone who wants to try air frying without spending much. At 50 EUR, the risk is low and the results are surprisingly decent. We cooked 300g of frozen fries in about 20 minutes at 200C and got acceptable crispiness. The 1030W element means things take a few minutes longer than in a full-size fryer, but for 1 to 2 people that tradeoff is fine. It is also small enough to store in a cupboard when not in use. Do not expect bells and whistles. This is a basic, functional air fryer at a budget price.
Moulinex Easy Fry Dual EZ905D
We tested the Dual alongside the Ninja DZ201 and found performance to be comparable. Fries in one basket, chicken nuggets in the other, both done at the same time using the sync finish feature. The main advantage over Ninja is price. At 180 EUR, it costs about 30 EUR less than the Ninja equivalent in France. The tradeoff is that Ninja has more online community support and third-party accessories. If you want dual-basket cooking from a French brand at a competitive price, the EZ905D delivers. For a household of 4 or more, the ability to cook two different dishes simultaneously saves real time on weeknight dinners.
