The halogen and infrared combination actually crisps food well, and being able to see through the glass bowl is surprisingly practical when you are learning cook times. It is not as convenient as a modern basket model with digital presets, but for 70 EUR you get a functional 9L cooker that handles whole chickens and large batches without breaking a sweat.
