The Tefal Easy Fry and Grill XL is unique among air fryers because the grill function actually works. We tested it with burgers, chicken thighs, and vegetables, and the die-cast grill plate left proper grill marks with good char. At $130, the capacity is a bit small compared to what Ninja and Cosori offer at this price, but if you specifically want that grill capability, no other air fryer does it as well.

At 200 EUR or 2499 SEK, it is a significant investment, but it does replace two appliances. Air frying results are good but not quite as crispy as the dedicated basket models like the EZ801D.
