Tefal ActiFry 2-en-1 YV9601
We found the 2-en-1 solves a real problem: cooking fries and a protein at the same time without mixing flavors. In our test, we cooked 1 kg of fries on the bottom with the paddle and chicken drumsticks on the upper tray. Both were ready in about 40 minutes with no flavor transfer. The tradeoff is size. At 42 cm wide and 6.2 kg, this machine needs a dedicated spot on your counter. At 229 EUR, a Ninja dual-basket fryer gives you independent temperature zones for about the same price. But if you want the hands-off paddle system for a larger household, the 2-en-1 is the only option.
Tefal Easy Fry Max EY245B
We rate the EY245B as the best value Tefal air fryer for small families. The jump from 4.2 L to 5 L matters more than it sounds. We could fit a full batch of frozen fries for 4 people without overcrowding the basket. Fries came out evenly crispy in about 16 minutes at 200C. At 100 EUR or 1399 SEK, it undercuts Philips and Cosori 5 L models while delivering comparable results. If you do not need grill marks, this is a smarter buy than the EZ505.
