Which Should You Buy?

Moulinex Cookeo Extra Crisp

We think the Cookeo Extra Crisp is a smart buy for anyone who already owns a Moulinex Cookeo. For 60 EUR you get genuinely crispy fries and golden chicken wings without adding another appliance to your counter. Les Numeriques gave it a perfect 5/5, and we agree the results are surprisingly close to a dedicated air fryer. The catch is obvious: without a Cookeo base, this lid is a paperweight. But if you are in the roughly 3 million French households that own one, this is the cheapest way to add air frying to your kitchen.

Moulinex Easy Fry Dual EZ905D

We tested the Dual alongside the Ninja DZ201 and found performance to be comparable. Fries in one basket, chicken nuggets in the other, both done at the same time using the sync finish feature. The main advantage over Ninja is price. At 180 EUR, it costs about 30 EUR less than the Ninja equivalent in France. The tradeoff is that Ninja has more online community support and third-party accessories. If you want dual-basket cooking from a French brand at a competitive price, the EZ905D delivers. For a household of 4 or more, the ability to cook two different dishes simultaneously saves real time on weeknight dinners.
